This article summarizes the materials on geological mapping and scientific results obtained during long-term studies of the Paleogene-Neogene sedimentary complex occuring in the geological structure of the Mountainous and Lowland Garabagh. Identified and paleontological justified local stratigraphic units (suites) have been incorporated into local stratigraphic chart, which can be used for the stratigraphic correlation of the Cenozoic sections over the Southern Caucasus. This is first essay on the Garabagh stratigraphy in English.
