On the basis of the geomorphological analysis method developed by the author, during the paleo-geological reconstructions the statements are made as follows:
1. New-Caspian transgression is the independent transgression of the Caspian Sea characteristic for interglacial periods. Its commencement took place about 10 thousand years ago. 2. Within the Holocene history, there are outlined four stages with complex structures with the marking horizon at the boundary of lower and upper New-Caspian deposits. 3. On the basis of using the results of the developed method: a – is built the curve of Caspian Sea level fluctuations during the Holocene; b – is identified the amplitude of sea level fluctuation during the Holocene; c – is identified the amplitude of sea level fluctuation during sub-Atlantic period of the Holocene (from -30 to -25 m, “risk zone”), which has the most important significance in resolving the issues related with the forecast objectives. 4. The data obtained on the basis of the developed method are evidencing of the climatic nature of the Caspian transgressions during the Holocene.
